The Antic Staatsoper

The Antic Staatsoper was founded in 2006 by Nicolas P. a musician and photographer born during the No-future years in the South of France. At the beginning, The Antic Staatsoper was mainly a side project for experimental musics and videos. This current visual universe was developed during this period. In 2012 the first pictures from the Decorum serie were published in the magazine Fotografie (Italy) and exhibited at the MuseaAV (Nice, France) for the time.

Nicolas still uses The Antic Staatsoper name as his only artist name.

Today he continues to develop his work, exploring new projects in different fields. In 2016 he wrote and played the soundscape “Birth”; a musical performance about the arrival of new deities in our world during some of his openings.

He lives between France, U.S.A. (California) and continue playing with different bands as a guest or for his own performances.
